Wet N Wild Long Wear Lipsticks: 918D Cherry Bomb

918D

I am beyond impressed with this lipstick. I just had to start with that. I picked up a few of these at Rite Aid (on sale) after hearing they were pretty good from a few beauty vloggers on Youtube (after beautycrush's haul I had to try them). They are normally about $2.99 depending on where you live. So, I figured with the price tag I could expect poor to mediocre quality. I expected them to be like the NYC lipsticks where they look okay on, don't apply well, and don't last long, but are nice and cheap!

I was very wrong! This applies pretty easily, the shape could be slightly more pointed to make for easier application but I can definitely work with it. It is not sticky or anything and it applies semi-matte to the lips. It looked fantastic on and the color payoff was fantastic, I didn't have to keep applying, one sweep was enough. The only downside is the packaging, it is noticeably cheap and mine broke as soon as I twisted it. It's still usable and doesn't effect anything. The color itself is a sort of dark cherry red-purple mix. I really like it, despite how dark it may seem. I've been experimenting with darker lipsticks lately and this is a perfect medium between the dark reds and dark purples I have been looking at.
I'm sorry for the crappy cell quality but my camera needs to be charged!
As for longevity, I decided to wear this to classes today (as I'm there all day) and it held up amazingly (and surprisingly) well. I reapplied once when I got to the school (unnecessarily) so I could take a picture. I did not reapply the rest of my eight hour day and it still looked fantastic by the end of the day.

This is the end of my night, just before leaving to drive home! 8+ hours of wear.
I would definitely recommend these to anyone! I love this lipstick, and I will be buying more as soon as possible.

How about you? Think it looked nice by the end of the day? Want to try it yourself?
