Television: The Taste: Tuesday at 8|7c on ABC

 
     So there's a new cooking show on ABC. I love cooking competitions, Chopped and Sweet Genius are my weaknesses. Now ABC has decided to dip their toe in the cooking competition pool with The Taste. It plays on Tuesdays at 8/7c (obviously on ABC). Unlike the two other shows I mentioned this one doesn't get new contestants every episode, it starts with 16 and they get voted off each episode. It reminds me a lot of how the tattoo competition shows I've been watching lately have worked (i.e. Best Ink or Inked). I like the idea because it gives me a chance to get emotionally attached to the characters. It makes it easier to get into a show when I see a familiar face and learn a little more about them every episode.
    If you like cooking, competitions, or to veg out on the couch like me, then you should definitely go check it out. I like all three of those things AND I don't have class on Tuesday's so I know where I'll be from now on. So definitely check it out and let me know what you think!
